... On Sunday November 27th, 2011, the Region "Nice Côte d'Azur" had the pleasure to welcome both the President of B'nai B'rith Europe (BBE), Ralph Hofmann, and the President of B'nai B'rith France (BBF), André Nadjar who chaired the meeting at which 9 new members were installed.

Ten Lodge Presidents traced the history of their Lodges and pointed out their projects and objectives.

Brother President André Nadjar was pleased to report the success of his communication project between Lodges and for the progress made in increasing the prestige of the State of Israel. He reported on the success of the fair where Israeli wine was presented. He praised the publication of the calendars, distributed mainly to non-Jews, to make them aware of the high technology of products available from Israel.  He also stressed the importance of the new BBF website that must be promoted, of communication on community radios and adverts that should bring us new members. Also the new training policy for new members and new Presidents should be promoted.

Brother President Ralph Hofmann, in his address, spoke of the continuous efforts of BBE towards youth that are the future of our organisation. The main goal of our BBE President is to assemble youth, a task very close to his heart.

We were also pleased to count Sister Francine Coen, President of the Region Marseille and Brother Serge Dahan, President of the Region "Ile de France" among our guests.

Approximately 200 Brothers and Sisters attended this very successful meeting and joined us for a festive cocktail during which we exchanged our points of view in a cordial and friendly atmosphere.

I am taking this opportunity to thank Presidents Ralph Hofmann and André Nadjar for their support, and the Lodges of the region for their dynamism.
