The Henry Jones Lodge in Brussels was stablished in 1950.

Born Heinrich Jonas in Hamburg in 1811, Henry Jones, as he later called himself, emigrated to the United States in 1829.

He played a very active role in the New York Jewish Community as a professor and head of the "Anshe Chesed" Hebrew School.

On 13th October 1843, with ten friends, he founded the "Bundes Brueder", which, on 21st October of the same year, became B’nai B’rith.
