International - Romanian President betows Award to B'nai B'rith Executive Vice-President |

B’nai B’rith Executive Vice President Dan Mariaschin was awarded the Romanian Order of Merit Commander Class by Romanian President Traian Basescu for his work on Holocaust remembrance and research.
Mariaschin was a member of the Commission on the Holocaust in Romania, which was chaired by Elie Wiesel.
The award was announced in Bucharest on the occasion of the dedication of a memorial to the victims of the Holocaust in Romania.
