On 10th November 2009, Bene Berith - Lodge "Philon" presented to their members the new Rabbi in Athens , Rabbi Jacob Menahem Ohana.

In an emotional and formal meeting of our brothers and sisters, President Matathias Borbolis, welcomed the new Rabbi, with details of his studies and former positions. Matathias Borbolis assured him of the full support of the Lodge.

In his reply, Rabbi Jacob Menahem Ohana, declared that his office door would always be open to all our people, and he announced his decision to become a member of the Philon Lodge.
