This Lodge was established in 1982. It is a mixed Lodge with around 70 members. It is named after the famous Israeli General Moshe Dayan, who led the liberation of Jerusalem during the "Six-Day war".
Moshe Dayan was born in 1915 in Deganya, on the south bank of Lake Tiberias. He was Tzahal Chief of Staff from 1953 to 1958, Defence Minister in 1967 and 1969-1974 and Foreign Minister from 1977-1979. He died in Ramat-Gan in 1981. |
