FAN Meeting in the Bulgarian Parliament

FAN organized a meeting with 4 Bulgarian Parliamentarians in Sofia, Bulgaria, on June, 12, 2012, along with the Israeli Ambassador to Sofia in order to start developing an agenda with the Friendship Bulgarian Parliamentarian Group with Israel.

B’nai B’rith Director for EU Affairs was one of the speakers, concentrating his speech on how to develop links between the Bulgarian Parliament and the Israeli Knesset and to promote Israeli-issues related in new technology, environmental and defence capabilities and cultural ties between the two Parliaments.



These ideas were also followed by the Israeli Ambassador to Bulgaria who is keen to promote this partnership in order to develop not only the Friendship Group but also, all those members of the House who are interested in developing activities, political, economical and social, that will strengthen the relationship between Bulgaria and the State of Israel.

This operation helps the political work within the EU because not only Bulgaria is a member State seating in the EU Council, but also, the links between the Bulgarian and the European Parliament Bulgarian Delegation help the activities and our actions to promote our agenda.
