The President of the Delegation for Relations with Israel at the European Parliament, Mr Fulvio Martusciello, wished, after the terrorist attacks in Paris and Copenhagen, to invite Bnai B'rith France, AJC Global Jewish Advocacy and the European Union of Jewish Students to a delegation meeting on February 26, 2015 in Brussels.

The hearing before the Delegation for Relations with Israel aimed to convey to the delegates, the position of the various Jewish communities in Europe in the wake of this new wave of anti-Semitism.

B'nai B'rith France was represented by its Vice President Stéphane Teicher, Mr Jason Isaacson, Associate Executive Director for Policy, represented the Jewish-American AJC Global Jewish Advocacy committee - and the European Union of Jewish Students was represented by its President Ms. Jane Braden-Golay.

Anti-Semitism in Europe was the main topic on the agenda of this monthly meeting.

Stéphane Teicher presented the situation of anti-Semitism in France, the feeling of the Jewish community, actions and commitments of the French Government and the reactions of civil society following the killings last January in Paris.

Stéphane Teicher has thus had the opportunity to share the actions of B'nai B'rith France in the field and with policy makers and community. She presented the objectives of B'nai B B'rith France "To Citizenship and Against anti-Semitism".

The Chairman of the Delegation, Italian MEP (EPP) Fulvio Martusciello thanked B'nai B'rith for their actions in the fight against anti-Semitism in France and praised the organization B'nai B'rith in Europe and the world for their fight for human rights and the fight against racism and anti-Semitism.
