The immediate response from the French President, Nicolas Sarkozy and the efforts deployed to arrest and prosecute the perpetrator of this horrible act are welcomed by our organisation. We most sincerely hope that all steps will be taken to protect the Jewish community from such dramatic anti-Semitic attacks in the future by reinforcing security around Jewish schools, synagogues and community centres.
