From the 27th to the 29th of June, the Philon Lodge of Greece participated in the Athens Discourse “A world in transition“. The program was organized by the Institute of International Relations (IDIS) of the Panteion University in Athens and The Israel-Hellenic Forum of B’nai B’rith World Center in Jerusalem. It was a tripartite (Greece-Israel-Cyprus) view of promoting the relationship between these countries.
Hellenic Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikos Dendias, Hellenic Deputy Minister of Education and Religious Affairs, Angelos Syrigos, Chairman of the Greece-Israel Parliamentary Friendship group, Dimitris Keridis, CEO of B’nai B’rith International, Dan Mariaschin and Director of BBWC Jerusalem, Alan Schneider, among others, have taken part in this program.Ambassador of Israel to Athens, Yossi Amrani, addressed a goodbye speech.
On the last day, the group visited the first capital of Greece, Nafplion, as well as the archeological site of Mycenae. At the end of the day all participants said “Le Hitrahot“.
