B’nai B’rith Europe condemns in the strongest terms the anti-Semitic attack on the Tree Of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh on Saturday, October 27th 2018.

The President of B’nai B’rith Europe sends his sincere condolences to the families and friends of those who were brutally murdered in this heinous act and to the American people.

He wishes the wounded a quick and complete recovery.

This odious, cowardly and monstrous murder demonstrates once again the dangers of anti-Semitic and anti-Zionist hate speech spreading through social networks throughout the world and incites extreme violent acts.

B’nai B’rith Europe expects the international community to take operational decisions to prosecute and strongly condemn those who carry hate speeches, to close their sites and finally implement a coordinated policy of zero tolerance.

After the murders of Jewish women and men in France, in Belgium and elsewhere in Europe, after violent attacks in the streets of Paris, Berlin, London and elsewhere in the world, this cowardly criminal in Pittsburgh shouting «All Jews must die» proved once again that words can kill.

The President of the B’nai B’rith Europe sends his warm support to Jewish communities in the United States of America and in the world at this difficult time.
