Represented in 58 countries, we are the world’s largest Jewish Human Rights, Community action and Humanitarian organisation. B’nai B’rith Europe is represented in 28 countries throughout Europe, with 7000 members.
With our office based in Brussels we are represented at the European Parliament, the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, the United Nations in Geneva and UNESCO in Paris.
Our main goals are the defence of Human Rights and the fight against anti-Semitism, racism and xenophobia, the defence of the State of Israel, humanitarian relief for the needy in Eastern Europe and in Israel and action to develop Jewish identity, Jewish culture and Jewish heritage.

First Anniversary of the Polin Lodge - Report by Witold Zyss
B’nai B’rith was a very active organization in Poland before the war – before its dissolution by the Polish government in December 1938 - with ten lodges counting close to 1000 members belonging to the social and economic elite of the Polish Jewry, including several members of Parliament. It was only in 2007 that efforts to re-establish B’nai B’rith in that country were successful, with the creation of Lodge Polin which counts at present 42 members, most of them in Warsaw and in Cracow.

2008 B'nai B'rith International Policy Conference - Report by John P. Reeves
“B’nai B’rith at 165: Meeting the Needs of a Changing World” was the subject of the Policy Conference which was held at the Millenium U.N. Plaza Hotel in New York City between 7-9 December 2008.
The three-day event began on Sunday with a brief bus-tour through New York’s Lower East Side stopping among others at the corner of Hester and Essex streets, the former site of Sinsheimer’s Café, the birthplace of B’nai B’rith.

In the prestigious setting of the Town Hall of Paris, in the presence of the B’nai B’rith International President, Moishe Smith, the Senior Vice President of B’nai B’rith Europe, Ralph Hofmann, and the President of B’nai B’rith France, Jacques Jacubert, B’nai B’rith celebrated a quadruple anniversary:
