B’nai B’rith France and its President Serge Dahan express their most sincere and painful condolences to the families of the victims and their fullest solidarity with the whole of Belgium after the horrific terrorist attacks on the Brussels airport and metro that claimed many innocent people’s lives.

This cowardly and indiscriminate terrorism, which struck Belgium in the aftermath of the arrest in the Molenbeek district of Brussels of one of the organizers of the 13 November 2016 tragedy in Paris, is the same as the terrorism that has bloodied France, Tunisia, Mali and, of course, Israel on a daily basis.

Once again, Europe and the values of humanity, democracy and freedom are in mourning today.

The unfailing fight against obscurantism and barbarism must continue more than ever. Islamist terrorism worships death and has no respect for life.

That is why it will fail to impose its cowardice, hatred and violence in the face of the universal values it seeks to destroy but which will remain the strongest.
