B’nai B’rith Europe attends European Parliament event on the International Holocaust Remembrance Day

B’nai B’rith Europe took part in a commemoration of all the victims of the Holocaust that was held on the 29th of January 2020, at the European Parliament. The President of the European Parliament, David Maria Sassoli commenced with a first speech, followed by a touching story of one of Italy’s Holocaust survivors, Liliana Segre. A moment of silence preceded. President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen stated “The fight for Remembrance must be our common fight. We must be vigilant and fight against antisemitism, racism and discrimination”.
